CONNECTIONS: a 12-Session
Based on theShame-Resilience Curriculum developed by Dr. Brene Brown
This workshop is designed to assist those who have difficulty with anxiety, depression, addictions, relationships struggles, and trauma histories. The programs intent is to help restore connection, courage, and compassion with self and others and to help reduce shame, guilt and low self-esteem. Participants will learn tools to become resilient in handling emotions, thoughts and behaviors that have often derailed maintaining solid emotional health recovery efforts.
Cost of $360 is all inclusive of programming activities of the facilitation of the curriculum and provision of handouts. Individuals are asked to purchase the book "I Thought It Was Just Me" by Dr. Brene Brown for assigned reading assignments and homework activities. Curriculum is presented using DVD viewing; dyad, triad, gender-based small group and large group discussions; art activities; experiential writing exercises; and various media interventions.
